Maple Baked Apples

Pure Vermont Maple Syrup

Or Pure Granulated Maple Sugar

Cinnamon

Butter


DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare 1 apple for each serving by washing and removing the core, leaving a plug at the bottom. Slit skin horizontally around the center with a sharp knife. Fill the cavity with maple syrup or maple sugar. You may add ½ teaspoon of butter, nuts and raisins to the cavity as well. Bake for 45 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork.
