About Us
Nestled in the heart of northern Vermont lies our family business. Starting over a decade ago with just fifty tapped trees and a propane burner on our back porch, we have seen significant growth. The Witmer boys' enthusiasm for sugaring increased as they did, and by 2019, our expansion reached six hundred trees. A new chapter unfolded in 2020 when we partnered with Lamar Graham, who had acquired a maple woodland nearby. Today, our operation proudly taps over three thousand trees. Producing a single gallon of maple syrup requires, on average, forty gallons of sap, necessitating extensive boiling. For us Vermonters, the steam rising from the sugar houses is a herald of spring. Making syrup is an experience that goes beyond the process, fostering treasured memories. We extend an invitation for you to enjoy our syrup, made with the same happiness that accompanies its creation.
